Is Your Vending Machine Out Of Order?

1 Corinthians 16:18

For he refreshed my spirit as well as yours.

Let me ask you something.

Its 12:00 pm and you are hungry. You see a vending machine, that appears to be broken. As you approach you notice it is unplugged and has an “out of order” sign across its face. Do you proceed to put a dollar in?

I don’t think so.

The same goes with our Faith. We cannot expect to God to fill us up with his love, with his goodness, if we are not plugged into his network.

When it comes to our God and our Faith, we are called to acts as vending machines of his goodness. Yet we cannot act as vending machines of his goodness until we have been plugged ourselves completely into him.

Romans 12:6 “In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you.” 

He has called us to be servants of his messages and servants of his goodness. He calls us to acts as vending machines to the hungry. You see God has fully stocked us with gifts or ‘goods” that he wants us to use to shed light on the world. He has stocked each of us with different ‘goods’, goods that can only be found within ourselves.

God has uniquely tailor each of our gifts to the purpose he has for us in the world. Each of our gifts differ from one another’s. He has stocked our vending machines with goods that are exclusive to us.

This calling is one that doesn’t just require his love, but it requires us to love OURSELVES. You see if our vending machines are out of order, If our vending machines are not well taken care of, if our vending machines are not fully stocked with his love, if we are not fully walking in the purpose that God has for us, we cannot fully reap the Gifts that he has given to us. We cannot act as vending machines of God love to those who are hungry.

Today, look at yourself. Are you out of order? Do you need to be restocked with God loves so that you can walk in his purpose for you? Do you need to be plugged into Gods network?
